Ream City Development project, located in Ream sub-district, in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.

Project Background:
• Ream City Development project (พืน้ ที่แหล่งท่องเที่ยวพิสิทธ์ินาคราช” ) is a development of world- class leisure and business destination in Sihanoukville, Cambodia led by “Canopy Sands Development Co., Ltd”

• Ream City is a world‐class leisure and business destination located in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. It sits on an 834-hectare reclamation site on the southern edge of Sihanoukville, approximately 235km southwest of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia with geographic coordinates of 10°32\"58.1"N 103°36\"10.6"E.

• The total project investment is estimated at US$ 16 billion and the project will be developed in 3 phases over a period of 25 years. The initial phase includes land reclamation of 834-hectare.

Project development is divided into 3 phases:
• Phase 1: From 2020 to 2025, Land reclamation by filling with sand in preparation for further construction of large-scale buildings and infrastructures of the project. Phase 1 development will take 5 years commencing from 2020 and to complete in 2025.

• Phase 2: Includes construction of 2 beachfronts, hotels, commercial and residential areas, golf course, education center, medical center which requires construction development period of approximately 10 years and expected to be completed in 2035.

• Phase 3: Construction and development of business and financial centers, medium size industrial zone in which the development in this phase will take approximately 20 years and to be completed in 2045.

Scope of work:
• The company plans to develop initial phase starting with land reclamation with total reclaimed area of 834 hectares (approximately 5,212.5 rais) in which all the land reclamation (similar to the construction and development of the Palm Island in Dubai. It is estimated that 500 million cubic meters of sand are required to complete this initial phase;

• The company is in the process of procuring and selecting Thai, Vietnam and Singapore operators to complete land reclamation phase withing 5 years as planned

• Sands can be sourced from sand sources in Bornum sub-district, Naklua district and Koh Kong province and sand around Ochheuteal Beach (ชายหาดอนั ตงซอ) and area around Tamae island (เกาะทเม็ย), Sihanoukville province.

Project owner’s requirements:
• Project owner (Canopy Sands Development) decided to put the project on hold due to the delay of Vietnamese contractors and it is anticipated that Vietnamese contractor will not be able to complete their work within the given project timeline.

• Project owner decided to newly reallocate land reclamation works and they decide to open for bidding to those contractors who are interested to bid and work on this project and are qualified to take on the assignment with below qualifications as follow;

• Contractor shall have large fleets of dredging and barge which can dredge large quantity of sand daily;

• 400 million cubic meters of sand is expected to be dredged within 4 years. Contractor requires to secure its own source of sand;

• Vietnamese contractors receive US$ 4.60- 4.80 per cubic meter (dredging, transporting and dumping sand to the construction site.

Progress of the phase 1:
