It sits on an 834-hectare reclamation site on the southern edge of Sihanoukville, approximately 235km southwest of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia with geographic coordinates of 10°32\"58.1"N 103°36\"10.6"E. • The total project investment is estimated at US$ 16 billion and the project will be developed in 3 phases over a period of 25 years. Sand dredging projects in Leuk Daek district, Kaoh Thum district and S’ang district, Kandal province, Cambodia. (โครงการอาเภอเลิกแดก , อาเภอเกาะทม และอาเภอสะอาง จงัหวดักลัดาลประเทศกมัพชูา) Scope of work: • Scope of work for these 3 projects include sand dredging from Khong river (แมน่ ้ําโขง) to fill and reclaim land in i) Leuk Daek district, ii) Kaoh Thum district, and iii) S’ang district, Kandal province, Cambodia with total area of 288.8034 square kilometres and required average height of 9.00 metres. • Estimated total sand of 500 million cubic metres are required in which sand can be sourced from Bassac River (แมน่ ้ําบํา สกั ) and Khong River which are situated around the project site area. • Estimated sand depth of 25 metres. • Total project timeline of 5 years to fill sand in land reclamation of 2,000 hectares.
